Following the success of The Cruise Division training programme, Not Just Travel has announced it will expand the initiative to all 720+ consultants
The homeworking brand launched the programme in September 2022 as an optional, subscription-based initiative, which saw cruise sales for participating members triple. As a result, The Cruise Division will now be accessible to the entire Not Just Travel network.
The decision comes several months after the company announced it would invest “many millions” in training, support, data and technology to help its consultants grow their businesses.
This included a series of exclusive Seminar at Sea voyages with Virgin Voyages, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and MSC Cruises, all of which have boosted sales for Not Just Travel’s advisors, the company says.
Clare Cruise, head of commercial, said: “Over the past two years, we’ve seen extraordinary results in the cruise sector. Notably, we now have over 80 per cent more consultants actively selling cruises.
“With this expansion, we aim to bring that figure to 100 per cent by equipping our team with the knowledge and confidence they need. The next phase is to elevate our consultants’ expertise in higher-end luxury and river cruising.”
Not Just Travel consultant Lindsay Coulter, who enrolled in The Cruise Division, added: “As a regular cruiser myself, I was already familiar and confident selling cruises to new and repeat customers. The Cruise Division gave me access to training on unfamiliar brands as well as perks such as a river cruise fam trip. This enabled me to sell the more niche products more confidently.”
The company has also introduced an optional Cruise Experts Club, an exclusive offering that will providemembers with a personalised cruise website, access to specialist coaching sessions, and advanced training in luxury, ultra-luxury, and river cruising. Participants will also benefit from CLIA membership, ship visits, and familiarisation trips.
