Seabourn has completed a multi-million-pound renovation of Seabourn Odyssey.
The work, completed in Genoa, Italy, included improvements to public and guest areas throughout the ship.
Seabourn’s vice president of hotel operations Gerald Mosslinger said: “Seabourn Odyssey recently came out of its most extensive refit period to date and the response of our guests, both repeaters and first-timers, is likely to garner the same impression – the ship is even more stunning and beautiful.”
The ship features new new high-end furniture, lighting and carpet in the Seabourn Square, the communal hub of all Seabourn ships, while new decor can also be found in The Club, The Restaurant and the Card Room.
Guest suites have also seen updates, with Veranda Suites now featuring new stone tops on the bedside cabinet, joined by new tables, designer bedding soft goods and sofa pillows. Premium Suites also include new furniture and a colour palate.
In addition, there are new televisions in all guest suites, integrated with an interactive high-definition TV system that features channels such as BBC HD, HGTV, The Food Network, and The Travel Channel.
Technology to improve internet connection across the ship has been installed. All suites have USB 2.0 outlets on the nightstand and wireless access points have been added.
Seabourn is launching two expedition ships, the first of which, Seabourn Venture, arrives in 2021.
