Virgin Voyages has confirmed plans to sail in Scandinavia and the Baltics for the first time in summer 2028, with Valiant Lady homeporting in Amsterdam
The adults-only cruise line will offer six sailings between July and September 2028, ranging from seven to 12 nights, with 15 maiden ports.
The programme includes two Western Europe voyages between Barcelona and Amsterdam, four Northern Europe sailings roundtrip from Amsterdam and an itinerary crossing the Arctic Circle. Bookings open on 13 August 2026 at 5AM for travel agents.
The itineraries comprise a 10-night voyage departing Barcelona on 9 July calling at Casablanca, Morocco; Lisbon, Portugal; La Coruña, Spain; Cherbourg, France; and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as well as a 12-night voyage return from Amsterdam calling at Oslo, Norway; Copenhagen, Denmark; Gdynia, Poland; Stockholm, Sweden; Warnemünde, Germany; and Aarhus, Denmark.
Travel agents who book their guests on any of the six sailings new sailings will be entered into a draw to win a place on one of the voyages. Each qualifying booking gives one entry, and the more bookings made, the more entries received. Bookings must be logged on FirstMateLoot.co.uk.
Agents will also receive double First Mate Loot, worth £10 per Scandinavia and Baltics booking. The prize draw and double reward incentive will run from 13 August to 30 September 2026.
