Mediterranean cruise up for grabs in new Oceania training incentive

Oceania Cruises has fortified its aspirations to expand its travel agent network in the UK with a raft of new initiatives and a Mediterranean cruise incentive

Last month, the culinary- and destination-focused cruise line revealed a new range of training videos to help increase its trade remit and educate its current agents on its breadth of product.

“We are delighted to announce this new training platform for our valued trade partners”, said Jason Worth, vice president of international sales for Oceania.

“We hope that these new videos will help us reach many new travel partners and educate them on all things Oceania Cruises.”

The line operates eight small, luxurious ships which can carry a maximum of 1,250 guests on destination-rich itineraries to 600 ports in more than 100 countries.

The brand will further bolster its global presence in 2027 and 2028 or 2029 with the addition of two new ships.

Oceania Cruises to educate agents with new videos

A key cog in the promotion of the brand’s product is its new agent training scheme. The five, 15-minute videos are now live and can be accessed here.

Furthermore, any travel agent that watches all five videos by 31 December 2024 will be entered into a draw to win a Mediterranean cruise of up to seven-days in duration departing in 2025.

The first video is titled Brand Introduction and covers the company’s brand pillars, a fleet overview and its generous simply MORE value offer.

The Finest Cuisine at Sea touches on onboard restaurants, The Culinary Centre, and its signature chef-led Culinary Discovery Tours. Curated Travel Experiences gives an overview of destinations visited by Oceania Cruises and its small group immersive shore excursions.

Meanwhile, Small Ship Luxury features different stateroom types and inclusions, while Life On Board covers enrichment opportunities, guest speakers, Aquamar Spa, sports and evening entertainment.

Each informative video is hosted by Oceania Cruises’ sales team, and includes supporting downloadable assets, designed to educate and increase brand awareness amongst the trade community.

All videos are hosted on a virtual event platform (ON24) and can be watched on demand at a time and place that suits each travel partner.
