CMV to release 2019 Cruise Collection Preview brochure one month early
Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) will release its 2019 Worldwide Cruise Collection Preview brochure one month early on 1 March, due to customer demand.
CMV has already sold 88 per cent of its budgeted 2018 capacity, prompting the company to bring the Cruise Collection Preview brochure launch forward.
In addition, the early booking promotion of ‘Buy One Get One Free’ – the first adult pays the full fare and the second adult sharing travels for free – will run from 1 March to the end of May, and is sure to continue to please both customers and agents. The promotion is available on all winter 2018/2019 and summer 2019 departures detailed in the Worldwide Cruise Collection 2019 Preview brochure.
Announcing the new brochure, Mike Hall, head of marketing, said: “Our aim is to continue to offer the best early booking deals which enable our guests to book the cruise and cabin of their choice at a great price.”
Brochure highlights include 11 UK departure ports with more sailings from Poole, Portsmouth and the re-introduction of Rosyth, plus CMV’s top selling itineraries with the ever popular cruises to the Fjords; Baltic cities and St Petersburg; Iceland; Canaries & Madeira; European cities; River Seine and the best of the British Isles.
“We realise that many British cruisers prefer a more traditional cruise experience as opposed to sailing on the vast mega resort style ships built today,” said Mike Hall. “With our fleet of five small to medium sized classic style ships, we offer a more leisurely and friendly home from home style of cruising and maritime experience, accessible to a much wider choice of interesting and more remote ports of call.”
At the end of last year, CMV released advance details of an expedition voyage on Marco Polo to Greenland in June 2019 – this cruise has virtually sold out, so another date has been added to the programme, which departs in July 2019 with fares from £1779pp for 22 nights.
Other news includes a new multi-generational cruise to the Baltics in 2019, while Amsterdam will also become a turnaround port in 2019, with an increase in the number of CMV ships docking at the cruise terminal.
