Celebrity Cruises will invest $500million to reimagine its fleet.

Termed the Celebrity Revolution, the programme is in partnership with more than 500 architects, designers, and engineers. It is designed to bring the rest of the fleet to the same standards as the forthcoming Edge class.

The first revamp will take place in 2019, beginning with Celebrity Millennium, and will continue across the fleet until 2023.

“We launched the Celebrity Revolution to do one thing – transform the way our guests experience the world,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO, Celebrity Cruises.

“It began with the introduction of the industry-changing Celebrity Edge, and continued with the stunning Celebrity Flora.

“Our dedication to improving the way guests experience the world knows no bounds. We are taking our entire award-winning fleet to the edge and giving people the holiday they truly deserve.”

Celebrity Cruises will spend up to $500million to reimagine its fleet.

British designer Kelly Hoppen, MBE, who worked on designs for Celebrity Edge, will work to transform suites on the Celebrity Millennium, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Infinity, and Celebrity Summit.

She will also infuse the Reflection Suite and Signature Suites, found on Celebrity Reflection, and newly added to Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Equinox, and Celebrity Silhouette, with her signature style.

The Retreat, an exclusive new sanctuary for all Suite Class guests on the Edge, will be introduced fleet-wide. Every ship will offer The Retreat Sundeck and The Retreat Lounge, both designed by Hoppen.

In terms of staterooms, Celebrity Cruises has joined forces with design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA). All staterooms will feature a fresh design, rivalling the world’s best boutique hotels. They will also be fitted with Celebrity’s eXhale bedding featuring exclusive cashmere mattresses and RFID locks.

In addition, the Oceanview Café will be redesigned with an open, marketplace-inspired design, while the Main Restaurant will undergo a makeover, with new textures and new finishes added throughout.

Celebrity will also expand the SEA Thermal Suite, which provides spa treatments, and offer new shopping experiences on board.
