Celebrity Cruises launches Edge-class brochure and website

Celebrity Cruises has released a new brochure focusing on its Edge-class ships.

The brochure – designed to help agents differentiate between Celebrity’s three ship classes, Edge, Solstice and Millennium – features details on accommodation, dining and other highlights on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex.

In addition, agents can now access a new microsite – www.celebritycruises.co.uk/explore-edge – to view images and videos. A chatbot learning tool and augmented reality app will also launch in time for Celebrity Edge’s arrival in the UK on 13 May.

The chatbot guides agents around the ship to give them an idea of life on board. Agents will also have the opportunity to answer questions as they progress and win prizes, including suite upgrades, apple watches and on-board spending money.

More than 900 agents will join the “game-changing” Celebrity Edge on an exclusive sailing from 13-15 May.

Celebrity Cruises’ UK director of sales Claire Stirrup said: “We are really excited to be able to offer so many UK agents the chance to see Celebrity Edge for the first time. The ship is on its way to Europe for her first summer season, delivering a spectacular choice of western Mediterranean itineraries.

“We couldn’t let the opportunity pass to showcase the game-changing Celebrity Edge to our valued UK and Ireland travel partners, offering European agents an experience like no other.

“We really want to spread the word as wide as possible about how Celebrity Cruises is raising the bar in terms of luxury. The next ship in this class, Celebrity Apex, will be based out of Southampton when she joins the fleet next year so it is vital agents are up to speed with the many new features.

“The microsite gives a nice overview of Celebrity Edge and should be a useful resource and sales tool, in addition to our award-winning Celebrity Central agent hub. Meanwhile, the chatbot and app will give agents on the ship a fun and interactive way to explore.”
