AmaWaterways has announced it will is waiving single supplements on a choice of 39 European departures in 2024 booked by 31 March 2024

The offer is available on a range of Rhine, Danube and Rench waterway itineraries, with the offer applicable to all stateroom categories (excluding suites).

While bookings must be made by Easter Sunday, the offer will see solo sailings reduce by more than £1,500 in price on some itineraries.

Andrea Stafford, sales director, AmaWaterways, said: “River cruises offer an intimate welcoming environment, ideally suited to sociable single guests who want to travel through Europe in style. With no single supplements, these sailings are ideal for agents to sell to their solo clients.”

The seven night ‘Melodies of the Danube’ cruise from Budapest to Vilshofen, departing on 7 August 2024 on AmaSonata now costs from £3,157 per person (was £4,678) based on solo occupancy in a category E stateroom.

AmaWaterways is also offering a limited number of specially designed single occupancy staterooms with French balconies on several of its ships, all of which are also supplement-free.

Last December, AmaWaterways introduced the third instalment of its AmaAcademy, an online learning platform designed to help travel agents expand their businesses,, highlighting ways to sell Rhine, Main and Moselle sailings.
