AmaWaterways account and business development manager Jayne Lambert has left the line to take on a new role
Lambert, who started her career in travel with Kuoni as area sales manager and store manager in 2011, joined the river cruise operator in November 2022.
Prior to that, she was regional sales manager for G Adventures. “[AmaWaterways] is a fantastic brand, with a great product offering and I got to work alongside some of the most talented people in the travel industry,” she said.
“It’s has been fantastic to see our valued trade partner’s businesses grow and help support them in growing the luxury river cruise market.”
Lambert praised the AmaWaterways team and its trade partners for “supporting me in my role”. “I have attended countless events, conferences, training sessions, strategy meetings just to name a few and I’ve had a blast,” she added.
Speaking to Cruise Trade News, Lambert confirmed she would be started an undisclosed new role on 12 March.
AmaWaterways unveils third trade training instalment

It comes after the line introduced the third instalment of its AmaAcademy, an online learning platform designed to help travel agents expand their businesses with the luxury river cruise line.
The newest course, entitled “The Rhine, Main, and Moselle Rivers with AmaWaterways”, highlights a selection of the cruise line’s most popular European itineraries and compliments the second learning module which focused on Danube itineraries.
