AmaWaterways has introduced the third instalment of its AmaAcademy, an online learning platform designed to help travel agents expand their businesses with the luxury river cruise line.
The newest course, entitled “The Rhine, Main, and Moselle Rivers with AmaWaterways”, highlights a selection of the cruise line’s most popular European itineraries and compliments the second learning module which focused on Danube itineraries.
Newcomers to AmaAcademy have the opportunity to earn £75 in reward gift cards by completing all three courses and making three reservations within 90 days of each course’s completion.

“This new module explores our acclaimed itineraries along the Rhine, Main, and Moselle Rivers, and is designed to build a deeper understanding of the unique river cruise experience we offer our guests.”
Completing AmaWaterways training modules qualifies agents for reduced fam rates
Completing AmaAcademy courses, Stafford continued, not only equips agents with “essential destination and product knowledge”, but also qualifies them for reduced fam trip rates.
The full AmaAcademy curriculum comprises an introductory course on the history, people and product associated with AmaWaterways, a second course on the Danube and the new third course focussed on the Rhine, Main and Moselle.
Last week the line reported a 78% year-on-year increase in the number of travel agents booking its river cruises.
