Escorted tour specialist Titan Travel has strengthened its trade sales team with the appointment of former Virgin Voyages international trade support manager Chris Woodcock

Reporting into director of trade distribution, Shane Lewis-Riley, Woodcock will lead Titan’s team of key account managers, while working closely with the company’s marketing, contact centre and operations team.

Woodcock spent more than three years at Virgin Voyages, working alongside Lewis-Riley, who joined the escorted tour company last October. Additional appointments are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Lewis-Riley said: “This newly created role is vital to help us achieve our ambition of becoming the trade’s most trusted touring partner. This is just the start, and I look forward to announcing more roles soon.”

Woodcock added: “The trade is vital to our ambitions, and I can’t wait to help improve our service to them and deliver some new innovations to propel Titan Travel to being the first choice for our travel agent partners.”

In addition to Woodcock’s appointment, Titan has also announced the promotion of Adam Deane to the role of sales manager – strategic accounts, where he will drive closer partnerships at senior levels with key agent partners.
