Tall ship sailing specialist Star Clippers has introduced 22 themed and hosted sailings for 2016, including sailings with yoga and meditation, life coaches, art historians, photographers and writers on board.
The guest speakers and practitioners will be on board all three of Star Clippers clippers on selected dates in 2016, including the 4-masted sister ships Star Clipper and Star Flyer, and the flag-ship Royal Clipper.
Around half of the themed sailings will include presentations and sessions hosted by yoga practitioners and life coaches, taking full advantage of the ships’ vast open teak decks, with early morning and evening yoga sessions.
On November 3, 2016, guests can experience crossing the ocean from Lisbon to Barbados on a 16 night cruise, with yoga and meditation sessions hosted by practitioner Inge Schops.
Stylist Samantha Brown will be on board Star Clipper on her June 11, 7-night sailing through the Cyclades, and on August 20, `Bylines’ Jazz musicians will join Royal Clipper to host a week on board Star Flyer, sailing down the Amalfi Coast from Rome.
For the third year in succession, art historian and lecturer Renate Scheiper will give presentations about Mediterranean history and culture when she joins the 10 night sailing from Rome on board Star Flyer on July 27, 2016, calling in to Malta, Sicily and Amalfi.
A 7-night themed sailing costs from £1540pp, to include all meals on board, presentations and activities and port charges.
