Emma Hilton has joined Star Clippers as regional sales manager for the north after eight years at Olympic Holidays

Hilton will report into head of trade sales Nicola Cox and will be responsible for growing existing relationships while sourcing new business.

Fay McCormack, general manager of Star Clippers’ UK GSA Fred Olsen Travel, said: “We are delighted to welcome Emma to the team and have no doubt her vast experience of developing and growing trade relationships will be invaluable to our small, yet hugely dedicated, team.

“We are pleased to be able to continue supporting travel agents with a loyal and committed presence on the road to ensure that our agent partners remain informed, supported and educated.”

Hilton, who spent eight years as a key account manager and business development manager at Olympic Holidays, added: ‘I am really excited to join the Star Clippers team and look forward to transferring my previous skills and experience to assist in the growth of the business”.

The appointment follows the arrival of Emma Daines earlier this year, who joined as sales executive to grow the tall-ship specialist’s presence with high-street travel agencies.
