Ship of the Month: Celebrity Ascent

Celebrity’s newest ship sailed into Europe for the first time in April. Here’s a quick peek at some of the Celebrity Ascent’s most exciting features

Launched in Miami last December, Ascent is the fourth of Celebrity’s Edge-class ships, joining sister vessels Celebrity Edge, Apex and Beyond.

The length of three football pitches, it features the line’s trademark ‘Magic Carpet’, a cantilevered pod that moves up and down the side of the ship, as well as The Retreat, a resort-style enclave offering suites, private dining and a host of other exclusive features.

Visiting stunning destinations in Spain, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Turkey, the newest ship from the premium cruise line will dive into the rich history of Europe and explore the best the Mediterranean has to offer across the season.
