Royal Caribbean has announced that the top 15 contenders in its Escape Room competition will win a trip to New York.
The all-expenses paid, three-night holiday, from 7-10 December 2018, includes luxury accommodation, as part of the cruise line’s Club Rewards programme.
Escape Room, which runs from 4 September to the 4 October 2018, is an interactive online game to test agents’ knowledge of the line. It has been inspired by the Observatorium Escape Room experience on the Independence of the Seas.
For the duration of the competition, every approved booking submitted to Club Rewards will provide access to the virtual Escape Room, in which there will be a series of challenges.
An attempted escape will earn 10 points, while 100 points will be awarded for a successful exit from the room. An extra bonus of 50 points will go to the fastest escape each week.
The top 14 contenders will automatically join the New York trip, while those placed from 15-25 will battle it out for a final ticket.
Ben Bouldin, associate vice president and managing director, UK & Ireland, for Royal Caribbean International, said: “There is simply nothing like the Big Apple at Christmas, so this is an opportunity not to be missed.
“There are more ways to play than simply booking, so keep your eyes peeled for free codes granting extra chances to play and win a place on this money-can’t-buy trip.”
