Riviera Travel unveils inaugural itineraries for new river ships
Riviera Travel has released the inaugural itinerary programmes for its two new-build river ships, Riviera Radiance and Riviera Rose, which set sail in 2025
The 178-guest Radiance will operate six different voyages on the Danube, with 35 departures across the season, including an eight-day Blue Danube itinerary, visiting Vienna, Durnstein, Budapest and Bratislava, departing April to October 2025, with prices from £1,849pp.
The vessel will also sail a 15-day Budapest to the Black Sea cruise with guided tours of Veliko Tarnovo, Arbanassi, the Churches of Ivanovo, Belogradchik Rock and Mesolithic Lepenski Vir departing May, June and September 2025, with prices from £3,999pp.
The 114-guest Rose will operate on the Douro, with a Highlights of the Douro Valley and Salamanca cruise. A total of 30 departures are on offer, with the first setting sail 1 April, 2025.
The eight-day cruise will feature tours of Porto’s old town, Mateus Palace and Castelo Rodrigo, as well as port tastings and a stop in Salamanca. Prices start from £2,099pp. Itineraries will be available to book from 29 February, 2024.
New Riviera Travel ships to feature ‘several firsts’ for the line
Radiance and Rose – launching in March and April 2025, respectively – will feature several firsts for the river cruise line, including bearing the Riviera name on their bows.
