Riviera Travel has promoted account partnerships executive Ryan McVinnie to commercial partnerships manager
In his new role, McVinnie will take on more commercial responsibility within the river cruise and tour operator’s partnerships team.
Partnerships administration executive Ben Collier will now report into McVinnie, who will continue to report into head of trade and partnerships UK and Ireland Vicky Billing.
McVinne, who has been at Riviera for nearly six years, has previously held roles as travel sales consultant at the Midcounties Co-operative and customer service manager at Thomas Cook.
Via social media, he said: “It’s been an amazing couple of years learning the ropes of partnerships, and I can’t thank my great boss, my awesome mentor and my fabulous friend Vicky Billing enough for supporting, inspiring and believing in me.
“I am so lucky to work with the best team, and such wonderful partners and I can’t wait to see what’s to come in my new role.”
Riviera continues trade team expansion
The promotion is the latest in a string of moves by Riviera to bolster its ties with its trade partners in the UK and Ireland.
The line strengthened its trade team earlier this year with the appointments of Suzanne Warren as key account manager for the southeast, Amanda Docherty as its first key account manager for homeworkers, and Chris McCloskey and Lloyd Morris as key account managers.
