The leading small ship cruise company has announced its 2020 itineraries, as well as early booking offers and pre and post-cruise excursion packages.
One Ocean Expeditions (OOE) has released its exciting new programme for the 2020 summer season, which includes itineraries to Arctic Canada, Svalbard, Greenland, Scotland, Iceland, East Coast Canada, Costa Rica and Panama.
As well as this, the cruise line is offering early booking offers on selected cruises before 30 June 2019, plus a range of pre- and post-cruise excursion packages, which are all commissionable for agent partners. The new itineraries are the result of OOE’s recent market research from both customers and agents, which highlighted how customers are looking for more exciting destinations.
Andrew Prossin, MD of OOE, comments: “We have listened carefully to market feedback from both customers and agents and – staying true to our reputation for innovation – we have designed some exciting new itineraries, all onboard RCGS Resolute, including two fantastic EPIC voyages and our first ever trans-Atlantic crossing.”
The first of OOE’s new Epic voyages is A Journey to New Worlds – A Trans-Atlantic EPIC, which comprises a 22-night cruise from Edinburgh to Sydney (Nova Scotia). The itinerary combines two voyages, the first covering Scotland and the ‘Path of the Vikings’, including Iceland, Greenland and Canada, while the latter part of the trip is to remote islands of the North Atlantic.

For clients passionate about wildlife and history, this is the perfect cruise, with highlights including a visit to Sørvágsvatn, the largest lake in the Faroe Islands, and the World Heritage-listed Tablelands of Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland, Canada. Prices for the three-week cruise start from US$11,295pp (c.£8,675pp) in a Twin Private cabin.
The second is Across the Arctic – Epic, a 23-night voyage from Cambridge Bay (Nunavut) to Sydney (Nova Scotia). For this cruise, OOE’s classic Northwest Passage & Greenland itinerary has been coupled with the new Viking Explorer. Commencing in Cambridge Bay, passengers sail in the wake of early Arctic explorers through the remote Northwest Passage, exploring Canada’s High Arctic Region.
Passengers will then discover Greeland’s stunning fjords, which include Tasermuit, before crossing the Davis Street and experiencing Canada’s East Coast. OOE is renowned for offering a number of expert excursions on its trips and this itinerary therefore includes zodiac excursions to locations such as UNESCO World Heritage Site, L’Anse aux Meadows. The Arctic voyage takes place between 31 August and 23 September 2020 and costs from US$20,495pp (c.£15,740pp) sharing a Twin Private cabin.

Three additional, brand-new 11-night expedition cruises have also been added to the 2020 programme, all of which have been designed to immerse clients in amazing wildlife and culture during their trip.
The first includes Path of the Vikings from Reykjavik to Sydney (Nova Scotia), which follows in the footsteps of early Vikings across the Atlantic. Prices start from US$6,495pp (c.£4,988pp) for a twin share.
The second, Journey to the North, sails from Canada’s Maritimes, through the spectacular Labrador and Torngats National Park, to reach Greenland’s west coast. This trip operates from 8 to 19 August 2020 and starts from US$7,395pp (c.£5,679pp) for a twin share.
Finally, Viking Explorer, taking place from 12 to 23 September 2020, will travel along the southwest coast of Greenland, crossing the Davis Strait before reaching Nova Scotia, Canada. Prices start from US$6,495pp (c.£4,989pp) for a twin share.

The early booking offers available on selected cruises for reservations made before 30 June 2019 include Canadian Arctic and Spitsbergen and Canada’s East Coast, and Islands of the North Atlantic, Central America and Golf expeditions. Canadian Arctic and Spitsbergen bookings will receive a US$1000pp travel credit and a pre-cruise hotel night, while guests travelling to Canada’s east coast will receive a US$750pp travel credit and a pre-cruise hotel night.
