Launching this June, Seabourn will host a series of expert-led webinars while offering two agents the chance to win an expedition voyage to the Arctic in summer 2025
The agent-dedicated Expedition Month will be a chance for the line’s travel partners to learn about its worldwide itineraries through 45-minute webinars led by Seabourn experts taking place each week in June.
These will be complemented by a series of newsletters featuring selling top tips and quizzes on social media with spot prizes.
Agents will also have the chance to win a spot on a Seabourn expedition voyage to the Arctic in summer 2025, with two spots open for a travel partner and on colleague.
To win, agent partners will need to register and attend at least two of the three webinars, then make and confirm a new Seabourn Expedition booking between 1 June and 31 August 2024.
Agents looking for more expedition training, says Narraway
The first webinar will take place on 4 June and will be led by Robin West, Seabourn’s VP expeditions, who will share insight into how the line crafts its Antarctica itineraries.
On 11 June West will be educating agents on Seabourn’s warm-weather Pacific, Amazon River and Kimberley expeditions, providing tips on how to sell the lesser-visited regions to cruise guests.
And finally on 18 June, Seabourn expedition specialist and ornithologist Danae Sheehan will guide agents through the line’s Arctic expeditions.

Lynn Narraway, VP UK & EMEA for Seabourn, said: “At CLIA’s first-ever Expedition Cruise Summit, which we were thrilled to host on 12 May onboard Seabourn Venture in Greenwich, travel partners voiced their desire for more training on expedition destinations and product. In response to this, we have created this opportunity for them to learn live from our expedition experts.
“We urge travel partners to firstly visit SeabournAcademy.co.uk and take our ‘Selling Seabourn’s Ultra-Luxury Expedition Travel by Ship’ module, which is the best introduction to selling ultra-luxury expeditions, with expert tips on marketing to potential expedition travellers.”
Earlier this month, Seabourn’s new UK and EMEA sales director Tom Andrews vowed to re-engage with the line’s travel partners.
