Not Just Travel made more cruise bookings in September than any other month in the company’s 22-year history.
The homeworking firm’s cruise sales quadrupled last month compared to the same time last year, which Not Just Travel put down to its “aggressive” expansion into the cruise market through the development of its agent training programmes.
Members have also been involved in the company’s Breaking Waves internal campaign, which saw partnerships with cruise lines drive engagement and sales with more franchisees than ever before. More than 80% more travel consultants engaged in selling cruises against September 2022.
Not Just Travel thanks partnerships with cruise lines for sales boost
Not Just Travel chief commercial officer Chris Harrison said: “Not only have sales been phenomenal, the average value of bookings has increased dramatically, ultimately generating more earnings.
“The partnerships we have with our key cruise partners has meant more engagement through training, promotion of products and more sales than ever before.”
Established in 2001, Not Just Travel has launched a number of initiatives since September 2022 focussed on its cruise output, including its Cruise Division, Cruise Mastery programme, its Circle of Excellence ultra-luxury working group, its Seminar at Sea and its International Mastery Retreat.
It comes after rival home working agency InteleTravel also reported a “surge” in cruise bookings last month.
