Norwegian Cruise Line reveals additional US cruises this summer

Norwegian Cruise Line has confirmed that its newest, Norwegian Encore, will replace Norwegian Bliss in Alaska this summer.

Norwegian Cruise Line has added additional voyages from New York, Los Angeles, Port Canaveral and Miami, and confirmed that its newest, Norwegian Encore, will replace Norwegian Bliss in Alaska this summer.

The line has announced its return to Miami, with Norwegian Gem scheduled to cruise seven-day itineraries to the Caribbean from 15 August 2021 and a four-day voyage to the Bahamas in November.

NCL has opened for sale additional itineraries to Bermuda starting 26 September 2021 from New York on Norwegian Breakaway, the Mexican Riviera on 24 October 2021 from Los Angeles on Norwegian Bliss, and the Caribbean on 13 November 2021 from Port Canaveral on Norwegian Escape.

New ship Norwegian Encore will make its debut on the West Coast, replacing Norwegian Bliss in Seattle for the 2021 summer cruise season, calling at the Alaskan ports of Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point.

Guests and travel partners with who are impacted by the changes will be contacted directly. The line confirmed that all voyages in the US are contingent on receiving authorisation from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Norwegian Cruise Line president and CEO Harry Sommer said: “With these additional itineraries, we’re providing travellers with more opportunities to set sail from some of their favourite homeports and to some of their preferred destinations.

“We are very excited to sail in the US again and to sail first with our latest beautiful ship Norwegian Encore. We’re able to reintroduce her to our guests and invite them to experience her world-class offerings, as she makes her debut in Seattle and Alaska.”

NCL’s Peace of Mind cancellation policy remains in place for guests sailing on cruises with embarkation dates through to 31 October 2021. More information about the policy can be found here.

In May, Norwegian Cruise Line saw record-breaking sales following the reveal of its new ship, Norwegian Prima.
