GoCruise franchisees achieving £1m in sales double year-on-year
GoCruise & Travel has seen the number of its travel agent franchisees who achieved more than £1 million in sales double on the same period last year
It comes after the firm recently held its annual Franchise Top Achiever event, which took place from 10 to 12 September at the Carden Park Hotel and Spa near Chester.
The aim of the event was to reward the high performance of the business owners with a two-day relaxation experience, including a cocktail masterclass at a converted church.
Cunard business manager Dan Jones, who hosted the event, said: “This year has been truly momentous for Cunard as we welcomed Queen Anne to the fleet, and our partnership with GoCruise & Travel and Fred Olsen Travel continues to flourish through more retail store visits, training opportunities and bespoke hosted events.
“We have also been honoured to welcome many of this year’s top achievers on board our brand new ship, Queen Anne, through ship visits and familiarisation trips and we look forward to showcasing her to even more of our partners in the months ahead.”
Colin Martin-Weekes, franchise general manager for GoCruise & Travel, added: “It was a pleasure to treat our franchisees as a thank you for all the hard work they put into their business, and to be able to share it with our head office support team members who do an amazing job for our franchisees.
“The venue was spectacular and allowed us to really connect with them all and build on supporting and growing our relationships.”

Jane Chadwick, a GoCruise & Travel franchisee for more than 18 years, attended the event and described it as an “extra special treat from start to finish”.
