Cunard plans to reach more than 250 travel agents across 70 stores in the UK as part of its biggest-ever nationwide sales blitz
A seven-strong team will hit the high streets during CLIA Cruise Week (16-20 September), which will also include visits to three travel agent head offices – Fred Olsen Travel in Ipswich, Panache Cruises in Chorley, and The Travel Village Group in Blackpool – allowing the team to speak to more agents than ever before.
The sales team, joined by head office staff, will be armed with updates and information, agent collateral, and Shine reward points to give away.
Tom Mahoney, director of UK sales at Cunard, said: “We are as committed as ever to supporting our travel agent community and working together to create unforgettable experiences for our mutual customers.
“These visits are a brilliant opportunity for the Cunard team to learn more about the issues impacting our travel agent partners, whilst providing key brand insights and enhancing stakeholder relationships.”
Cunard ‘committed as ever’ to UK trade community
He continued: “Our dedicated sales team will be working tirelessly to showcase our extraordinary Cunard fleet and unique on board experiences. The future of luxury travel is incredibly bright, which is why we can’t wait to get on the road and bring our new propositions to life.”
It comes after the line gave agents the chance to earn up to ten times as many Shine points on all 2025 Cunard Fare bookings made between 4-16 September.
The September trade incentive coincides with a new consumer promotion, which gives guests the opportunity to get 10 per cent off selected 2025 voyages.
