Celebrity Cruises is introducing a number of new initiatives to help trade agents during these unprecedented times.
A spokesperson for the cruise line said: “Celebrity Cruises is encouraging agents to inspire their customers to look further ahead by using Celebrity Central to access ready-to-share offers and social media content.
“Agents can also find downloadable resources including Cruise with Confidence policy summary grids and FAQs, handy for keeping clients up to date with the latest information.”
One of Celebrity Cruises’ latest initiatives is a new live chat feature to the CelebrityCentral platform to help agents stay connected.
Available alongside the usual trade support, call centre and sales support channels, the Live Chat function gives agents another highly efficient way to contact the team and access the information they need, as they need it.
Agents can also watch live webinars hosted by the Celebrity Cruises sale team, who share the latest news, advise what’s selling well and share top sales tips throughout these unfamiliar times.
Luxury-themed training sessions are also being held monthly by business development manager Jonny Peat, and luxury business development executive Emma Rigby, covering different topics such as the Edge Series and the Galapagos.
The next masterclass on The Retreat is being held on Tuesday 28 April. Details on how to join these sessions will be shared via the Celebrity Cruises’ Agent Facebook pages.
The wider team are also holding impromptu coffee mornings and regularly posting on social media to “keep everyone’s spirits high” during these unprecedented times.
Celebrity Cruises, along with the rest of the Royal Caribbean group, has extended the Cruise with Confidence cancellation policy to allow the flexibility to decide to cancel up to 48-hours prior to departure for any sailing departing on-or-before 1 September 2020.
