Voyages to Antiquity has appointed Amy Sykes as partnerships manager.

Sykes, who was previously global partnerships manager at City Sightseeing, will oversee the management of the UK travel trade accounts, special interest groups and business partnerships to strengthen Voyages to Antiquity’s work with the travel trade.

As part of her role, Sykes will oversee and develop Voyages to Antiquity’s in-house video training platform, www.vtaexpert.com, which has been launched globally.

The new role will support and enable Michelle Daniels, head of commercial (global), to concentrate on the company’s international business, supporting the Australia and New Zealand business and driving growth in the US and Canada.

Jos Dewing, managing director at Voyages to Antiquity, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Amy aboard. Her impressive track record and personality brings valuable experience and abilities to our team.

“She will manage an integral and growing part of the business and we look forward to nurturing our commitment to working with the travel trade and partnerships, which now accounts for around 60% of our business, and growing our vibrant network of new partners under her leadership.”
