Thomas Morgan leaves Riviera Travel after nearly 10 years

Riviera Travel

Riviera Travel head of international sales Thomas Morgan has joined G Touring as trade sales director

He joins the company, which operates escorted holiday and touring brands Travelsphere and Just You, with a range of travel and touring experience where his focus has been on building growth through agency sales and managing a team to meet strategic goals.

Morgan, who joined Riviera Travel in 2014 as key account manager, was promoted to international sales and marketing manager in 2017 before becoming national sales manager UK and Australia in 2018.

He was then named head of trade UK and Ireland in August 2020 before Riviera reshaped its trade sales team in 2023, which saw him become head of international sales.

“Joining such a respected travel brand is an honour, and I am excited to contribute to their ambitious plans for growth and success,” Morgan said.

“I’m looking forward to working with Adam and the team in this exciting opportunity to further strengthen the brands commitment to the travel trade.”

Riviera Travel to launch two new ships in 2025

“Building and maintaining strong relationships with our trade partners has, and will always be, a key focus for G Touring to support the success of Just You, Travelsphere and our partners,” added G Touring managing director Adam Kemp.

Morgan’s departure comes after former Riviera Travel key account manager Paul Mellon left the line in January to take on the role of business development manager with Fred Holidays.

Earlier this month, Riviera Travel confirmed it will launch two new ships in 2025.

The 178-guest Riviera Radiance and 114-guest Riviera Rose will launch in March and April next year, respectively and will feature a host of never-before-seen features for the line, including its largest ever suites.
