Tall ship specialist Star Clippers has added the Italian town of Otranto, in the Puglia region, as a new port of call for selected sailings in 2025.
Southern France’s Saint Raphael is also a new addition, with Nice making its debut as a home-port for the line.
Otranto will be visited by Star Flyer on 8 July and 26 August 2025 as a part of Star Clippers’ 11-night Venice to Rome itinerary, which also sees Star Flyer calling into Mali Losinj, Hvar, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Taormina, Lipari, Amalfi and Ponza. Cruise-only prices start at £2,547pp.
Star Clippers bolsters European offering with new destinations
In addition, Star Flyer will be calling into the French Riviera’s Saint Raphael for the first time in 2025, with visits scheduled for 15 May, 22 May and 16 October 2025 with prices from £1,620pp.
Elsewhere, sailings in September and October 2025 will depart from and sail into Nice, in a move which Star Clippers said will allows guests to “enjoy a newly enhanced and comprehensive journey” around Italy, Corsica and the French Riviera.
The new additions come following the release of the line’s latest brochure earlier this year, which covers itineraries from November 2023 through to March 2025.
