AmaWaterways has released an agent incentive to celebrate significant growth across its entire portfolio
The river cruise line has reported a 150 per cent increase in its exotic sales - the Nile, Magdalena and Mekong - compared to September 2025, while its overall bookings for the same period this year were up 63 per cent.
To thank the trade for its support, AmaWaterways will give agents a £50 Amazon voucher for every booking made for the Nile, Magdalena, Mekong or Chobe rivers by the end of October, while European cruises qualify for a £25 voucher.
To secure the voucher, agents must forward the booking details to AmaWaterways' agency support team.
Andrea Stafford, sales director, said: "I'm very grateful to our trade partners for all the support they continue to show AmaWaterways, but particularly throughout September.
"Our trade sales team were out on the road updating agents on our unique exotics programme. Not only did agents give us great feedback, but they also really delivered for us, as our sales demonstrate.
"To show our appreciation, we are currently offering them an Amazon voucher for every booking they make."
AmaWaterways currently has 31 ships in its fleet with plans to grow to more than 50 by 2032.
"With the launch of AmaNubia on the Nile in November and AmaMaya on the Mekong next year, we continue to develop and grow our exotics programme to meet demand," said Stafford.
"Those who have worked with us before will know that we will do our utmost to continue working in partnership with agents as they help us build this area of our business.
"It might be a bit cliche, but the future is really bright for river cruising. Consumers are finally realising the benefits of exploring destinations by sailing through them and once they try this unique style of travel, they almost always come back for more."
