SixStarCruises has launched a new dedicated expedition cruise division in a bid to capitalise on the market’s steady momentum
The World Travel Holdings UK (WTH UK) brand will introduce a new website showcasing a range of destinations, wildlife, and shore excursions, as well as a series of video guides and reviews to offer customers an insight into adventure sailings.
It comes after expedition cruise bookings grew 42 per cent year on year, according to CLIA’s 2025 State of the Industry Report, with luxury cruise bookings rising by 53 per cent and premium cruising by 51 per cent.
While polar regions like Antarctica and the Arctic remain highly coveted, luxury expedition lines are expanding into new destinations, including Europe, the Mediterranean, and the South Pacific.
