SeaDream Yacht Club will add a new-build ship to its fleet for the first time in the company’s 25-year history

Slated to enter service in 2029, SeaDream III will become the third in the line’s fleet, and will cater for 200 passengers.

Guest accommodations will span five decks with private balconies across four of those decks. It will have a three dedicated watersports marinas to provide direct access to the sea as well as expanded spa, fitness and wellness offerings.

The ship will depart on its maiden voyage from Hong Kong on July 10 2029, calling at Ishigaki, Yakushima, Okinawa, Amami Oshima, Kochi and Shimizu before arriving in Tokyo for its official christening on July 21.

It will spend its inaugural season sailing a collection of cruises in Japan and South Korea before continuing on to Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, with New Year’s celebrations to be held in Sydney.

During SeaDream III’s first two years, it will sail to six continents, 73 countries and 364 ports. Then, on 5 January 2031, it will depart West Palm Beach on a 180-night World Voyage which will conclude in London.
