Royal Caribbean International has made a number of sales-based appointments as it looks to boost its presence in the UK & Ireland.
The cruise line’s sales team, headed up by UK and Ireland sales director, Martin MacKinnon, has been boosted by the appointment of Karen Tucker to the new role of head of field sales.
Karen Tucker, who has been with the company for more than 15 years, is now responsible for a team of regional sales managers, including Dionne Lalley, who has moved into the role from the Insights team. The key account manager team now includes Kelly Ashby, who moves from the Product team.
In addition, Rhianna Rees – recently recruited through the brand’s graduate partnership with Chester University – has moved from the Revenue team to report to MacKinnon as sales planning executive.
Meanwhile, Nicki Lewis, head of trade support, has strengthened her team with a number of promotions and appointments, including Jo Puccioni, who has moved from brand manager to the role of trade marketing manager. Kerry Nicholson is now e-learning manager, while Holly Matthews takes up the position of Club Royal manager.
Carla Hines has been promoted to sales admin manager and Jo Griffiths comes in as senior trading, groups and support executive.
MacKinnon said: “The relationships we hold with our trade partners in the UK & Ireland continue to be incredibly important to us and we know the team will set us up for success as we look forward to yet another year of incredible activity, including the return of Anthem of the Seas to the UK in April, the newly amplified Allure of the Seas being homeported in Barcelona and the launch of our brand new ship Odyssey of the Seas in November.”
