MSC Cruises has confirmed MSC Meraviglia will return to Southampton for its second ex-UK deployment in summer 2028
The ship will operate 21 sailings from May to October 2028, with destinations including the Norwegian Fjords, Northern Europe, France, Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands and Morocco.
Last year, MSC Cruises announced Meraviglia will replace MSC Virtuosa as its dedicated ex-UK ship sailing from Southampton. The vessel will sail its first season from the south coast port between 18 May and 30 October 2027.
Antonio Paradiso, vice president of international sales at MSC Cruises, said: “I am very pleased to announce that MSC Meraviglia will be sailing from Southampton in summer 2028, offering our guests an exciting choice of holidays.
“From the Norwegian Fjords and Northern Europe to the Iberian Coast, Canary Islands and Morocco, there is something for every type of traveller. Combined with our £50 deposit offer and additional Voyagers Club savings, now is the perfect time for guests to secure their preferred sailing and cabin.”
Onboard, guests will find 12 dining venues, including Ocean Cay seafood restaurant and Hola! Tacos & Cantina; 20 bars; swimming pools; an outdoor waterpark; and the MSC Aurea Spa.
Prices for summer 2028 sailings on Meraviglia start from £824pp for a seven-night cruise on 1 July 2028 from Southampton to France and Spain.
Departing on 10 June 2028, a seven-night sailing to Cherbourg, Cork, Liverpool, Belfast and Greenock will give football fans the chance to follow the Football Championship at sea, with onboard screenings and entertainment throughout the voyage. Prices start from £904pp.
