Royal Caribbean brings in new training manager

Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International has announced the appointment of Kristi Reeser as its new EMEA training manager.

Reeser – who initially joined the line in 2019 – has relocated from Oregon, US, and the North American team.

Royal Caribbean said she “brings a wealth of brand and training knowledge”.

Reeser will support the EMEA team to develop their expertise in their “mission to deliver the best family holidays possible”, a statement added.

Initially, her focus will be on conducting the training for all EMEA call centres, covering a breadth of information including products, policies, procedures and systems.

Royal Caribbean striving for ‘high quality’ service

Royal Caribbean Europe, Middle East and Africa vice-president Ben Bouldin said: “The team and I are so pleased to have Kristi on board.

“Her incredible knowledge will be vital in helping us maintain high quality customer communications across all our call centres and EMEA teams.”

Reeser added: “I’m so excited to move to the EMEA office and be part of an amazing and dynamic team.

“My favourite type of training is for new hires. Everyone is excited to learn and I get to be the one to show them how amazing Royal Caribbean is as a company and a brand.”

In March, the cruise line has announced that its trade competition, the Royal Pitch, would run for a second season.

The competition, designed solely for travel agents who are members of a consortium, saw the cruise line invest £200,000 in business concepts from 20 travel agents over the course of the last year.
