Agents can apply now for Royal Caribbean’s agency takeover programme

Royal on the Road

Royal Caribbean has announced the return of its Royal on the Road programme designed to support agents with personalised training

The programme, which was initially launched earlier this year, sees sales representatives from the cruise line travel to high street stores to deliver tailored support to agents with the aims of driving bookings and improving product knowledge.

Agents across the UK and Ireland can apply for the opportunity to have a store takeover. Successful agents will be selected in early August, with Royal on the Road store takeovers going live in the first two weeks of September.

Each takeover will include family-friendly activities, booking offers and branded materials. Participating agents will also receive a tailored training programme prior to the event.

Aaron Langford, senior sales director UK and Ireland, said: “The successful European debut of Legend of the Seas – our first Icon-class ship to sail in Europe – has been a fantastic milestone for Royal Caribbean this year.

“We’re proud of the excitement it has generated among our guests and travel partners. Agents are key to our success and we remain committed to investing in initiatives that support them and help drive growth.

“Fresh from the incredible time our agents had onboard Legend of the Seas, we’re excited to be opening applications for the next wave of Royal on the Road and look forward to working with our agent partners to bring the Royal Caribbean experience directly into their stores, helping them engage their customers, showcase the unique opportunities of a Royal Caribbean holiday and inspire new bookings.”

He added: “We firmly believe in supporting agents both with experiences on board and in store to help grow their businesses.”
