Riviera Travel introduces specialist concierge service

Riviera Travel has launched its Travel Concierge service on all its European river cruises and UK escorted tours.

It will provide guests with optional extras including the choice of more regional airports and alternative airlines, door-to-door UK drop off and pre or post-cruise hotel stays.

Travel Concierge applies to a total of 342 cruises and 66 tours in 2023. It is also available on all like-for-like 2024 departures.

On European river cruises, added benefits include up to two nights stay in pre-sailing and post-sailing destinations, as well as flexible airport departure options wherever possible.

Guests can also take advantage of airport hotel stays at preferable rates, door-to-door transfer services to departure airport or airport hotel, as well as luggage delivery. A fee applies to all benefits.

Riviera Travel making travel ‘more memorable’

Riviera Travel chief operating officer Robin Shaw said: “Understandably, customers want flexibility and choice with their holiday arrangements, now more than ever.

“In particular, the feedback we have is they are looking to spend more time away, and to take advantage of easy travel and transfers, both to and from their destinations.

“As a result, we’re pleased to be able to enhance our services through Travel Concierge. From hotel upgrades to holiday extensions, we’re here to make time away easy and even more memorable.”

Riviera Travel is currently running a peaks trade incentive for travel agents, giving away almost £10,000-worth of prizes.

Running through to 3 March 2023, a prize draw of agent bookings will take place every week.
