Riviera Travel has rolled out a selection of new training modules for travel agents on its e-learning platform, Riviera Explorer
The additions, the line said, come in a bid to arm travel agents with extra resource to sell group bookings, solo holidays and tours.
Vicky Billing, director of trade and partnerships UK and Ireland, said: “Our continued investment in the Riviera Explorer platform underlines our unwavering commitment to support agents and trade partners by providing them with information, tips and advice that is consistently updated and enhanced.”
The new modules include a “Why Riviera” section and video to help agents share the company’s values with customers, as well as a solo holidays section tailored to the fast-growing market segment.
A group bookings module, meanwhile, explains how group travel works at Riviera, including booking tips, group types, and selling advice. A tour mobility overview introduces mobility level classifications to help agents match the right tour to the right customer.
Internal improvements with new user analytics have also been added, as well as admin dashboards upgraded with AMS regional filtering/reporting for internal store performance insights, improving internal reporting capabilities.
Completing the new modules allows agents to gain or maintain their Riviera Travel “expert” status as well as increasing their chances of winning incentives.
“Just like we monitor customer feedback and booking trends to be able to hone and elevate our products and services according to demand, we regularly share new insights and helpful knowledge on the Riviera Explorer to ensure it is the most comprehensive agent learning platform available, and keep our partners engaged and up-to-speed with our fast-moving business,” Billing added.
