Princess Cruises reveals world cruise fastest-selling ever

Princess Cruises has announced that its 2021 world cruise, which opened for sale on 27 March, became the fastest-selling in its history within 24 hours.

The 111-day cruise departs from either Fort Lauderdale on 3 January 2021 or Los Angeles on 17 January 2021, on the 2,200-guest Island Princess. The Los Angeles sailing is a 97-day world segment.

Highlights of the cruise include:

  • Visits to 25 UNESCO world heritage sites including the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; Petra in Jordan; the city of Ephesus in Turkey; and Rabat in Morocco 
  • Maiden ports of call including Gynthion, Greece; New Plymouth, New Zealand; and Mindelo, Cape Verde Islands
  • An optional overland excursion to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in the Australian Outback
  • Late-night stays in 14-ports, including Honolulu, Singapore, Tahiti and Barcelona
  • Overnight stays in Dubai and Venice

Customers booking the 111-day or 97-day voyages before 30 November 2019 will receive early booking perks such as onboard credit and complimentary gratuities, wifi, wine and speciality dining.
