Princess cruises, Crown Princess

Princess Cruises is giving guests a chance to secure a cruise for a £1 deposit on one day only – 5 March 2020.

The offer applies to all destinations and ships with cruises departing on or after 1 June 2020.

Princess Cruises UK and Europe vice president Tony Roberts, said: “The success of the £1 deposit increases year on year for our agent partners and we are confident that our latest offer will be no exception.

“We would like to thank the trade for their ongoing support of the low deposit day. By giving guests the chance to secure a booking for just £1, there has never been a more affordable time to book a holiday.”

2020 will be the fourth year running the line has made the £1 deposit available and means guests will have nothing further to pay until their balance due date.

The cruise line sails to over 380 worldwide destinations, with cruises available to all seven continents.

Included in the offer are voyages on all of Princess’ UK-based ships in 2020 and 2021, which will depart for destinations across northern and southern Europe, as well as around Britain.

Examples of itineraries included in the offer are:

A seven-night Spain and France cruise on Crown Princess sailing from Southampton. Departing Friday 30 October 2020, it will call at Guernsey (St. Peter Port), La Rochelle, Bilbao and La Coruna. Princes start at £539pp.

An 11-night Russia and Scandinavia cruise on Sky Princess sailing roundtrip from Copenhagen. Departing Thursday 13 August 2020, it calls at Oslo, Berlin (Warnemunde), Tallinn, St Petersburg, Helsinki and Stockholm. Prices start at £999 per person.

Cruises booked will also be eligible for Princess Plus, the line’s on board savings package that gives free premium drinks, unlimited WiFi and complimentary gratuities for £35 per person per day.

The package was previously introduced as a limited time offer but has been extended due to the high number of guests who have opted to include it as part of their booking.

The add-on would normally cost over £70 per person per day for guests who pay for these items in advance of their cruise or onboard.

The premium drinks package includes cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, coffee and tea. Guests who prefer soft drinks or are under the drinking age can take advantage of the likes of fruit juices, mocktails and smoothies.

Roberts added: “We are constantly striving to enhance the onboard experience for our guests and by introducing the package as a permanent fixture we are giving people the chance to make the most of their holiday while saving money at the same time.”

It has also announced a discount of up to £400 per person flight discount on America-based sailings departing in 2020 and 2021.

Available on over 120 voyages the sailings cover destinations across northern and central America including the Caribbean, Hawaii, Panama Canal and South America.
