P&O Cruises sales director Ruth Venn has been promoted to associate vice-president, sales & distribution, a move that will see her lead the line’s sales operations
Meanwhile, vice-president brand & marketing strategy, Robert Scott, will take on a wider remit, with a greater focus on P&O Cruises’ long-term growth and brand strategy.
Venn will report into the line’s chief commercial officer Stuart Allison.
Allison said: “This is a very well deserved promotion for Ruth, whose experience has placed her at the forefront of the cruise industry for many years. Under her leadership, our 25-strong sales team will continue to broaden and deepen our trade distribution channels.”
“Rob will continue to report into me, as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, heading up multiple initiatives across our end-to-end guest journey, on board experiences and technology enhancements, which we cannot wait to unveil, and which will give agents even more reasons to sell our brilliant holidays.
P&O Cruises recently confirmed the return of its family day takeover ship visit, giving 400 agents and their families the chance to step aboard Iona this September
