P&O Cruises bring backs family ship visit event for 400 attendees

P&O Cruises Iona

P&O Cruises has confirmed the return of its family day takeover ship visit, giving 400 agents and their families the chance to experience Iona

Taking place on 13 September 2025, the event will see guests explore the vessel’s family-friendly spaces, from swimming pools to entertainment venues, while enjoying lunch.

Agents can register and find more information via the Shine Rewards Club. Registration opened on Wednesday (16 July) and closes on 3 August, with confirmation of attendance to be sent by 8 August.

P&O Cruises sales director Ruth Venn said: “Following the success of the 2024 event onboard Arvia, we’re pleased to expand this year’s family day takeover.

“It’s a brilliant opportunity for agents to be dazzled by our family-friendly entertainment and amazing activities. We know that offering first-hand experiences and insight will help agents to confidently share this knowledge with their customers.”

It comes after the line unveiled its 2025 ship visit programme, with more than 650 places available for travel agents.

P&O’s engagement series began in April 2025 with visits onboard Iona and Arvia, followed by events on Britannia in May and early June.

On 14 June the company hosted agents onboard Britannia in Belfast, with the ship repositioning for an event in Liverpool on 16 June.

These visits coincided with Britannia’s 10 year anniversary cruise, and attending travel agents joined evening celebrations hosted by the regional sales teams in each city.
