Oceania Cruises to offer ‘immersive destination experiences’ on Vista’s inaugural season

Oceania Cruises has announced the inaugural season for Vista, which sets sail in April 2023. The ship will cover more than 24 countries across four continents.

Vista’s inaugural season will go on sale on 15 September 2021 and is currently available for guests and travel agents to preview online.

The maiden voyage will depart from Rome to Barcelona on 14 April 2023.

Highlights of the programme include visits to the Greek Isles, the Holy Lands of Turkey and Israel, the Canary Islands and Portugal. Overnight stays will be available in Lisbon, Venice, Istanbul and New York City.

In addition, Oceania Cruises will take guests to lesser-known destinations such as Port-Vendres, Bodrum, Bozcaada, Chania and Martha’s Vineyard.

Oceania Cruises president and CEO Bob Binder said: “Every aspect of Vista’s inaugural season has been designed to present immersive destination experiences through new and unique perspectives.

“From the heart of iconic cities such as Venice and London to the rarely trodden shores of Stornoway or Kavala, guests will be enthralled with the diverse array of memories they’ll collect along the way.”

Vista will features 12 dining options, two crew members for every three guests, eight bars, lounges and entertainment venues and spas.

Standard staterooms on board Vista will be “the most spacious standard staterooms at sea”, according to Oceania.

The penthouse suites and staterooms will include bathrooms with rainforest showers, while Owner, Vista and Oceania suites have soaking tubs.

President’s circle and diamond-level guests will able to request their preferred suite or stateroom on inaugural season voyages.

Oceania Cruises recently resumed sailing with Marina departing in late August 2021.

The ship will spend the remainder of the summer and autumn in Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Greek Isles, before setting sail for Miami in December.

Elsewhere in the fleet, Riviera will resume sailing in the Greek Isles on 18 October 2021, and Insignia from Miami on 21 December 2021.
