Panache Cruises has helped secure a luxury cruise ship to provide accommodation for more than 1,200 spectators attending the 2027 Ryder Cup in Ireland

The Chorley-based luxury cruise specialist worked alongside Ryder Cup Travel Services to source Oceania Marina, which will operate as a floating hotel during golf’s premier team event at Adare Manor.

The 615-suite vessel will be berthed at Shannon Foynes Port throughout Ryder Cup week, offering guests all-inclusive accommodation alongside official event tickets.

Matt Busby, vice president of business development at Panache Cruises who brokered the deal, said the project showcased the company’s ability to deliver specialist charter solutions through its extensive industry relationships.

“We became aware that Ryder Cup Travel Services were looking for a partner to help them charter a cruise ship,” he said. “We immediately drew on our network of cruise line contacts and identified three suitable vessels that would be in the British Isles at that time of year.”

The 2027 Ryder Cup will be held at Adare Manor in County Limerick, with Oceania Marina providing an accommodation option for fans travelling to one of golf’s most prestigious sporting occasions.

The event will take place after Oceania Marina undergoes a “comprehensive” refurbishment. Scheduled to enter dry dock in October 2026, each of the vessel’s staterooms will be redesigned, complemented by enhancements across all public spaces.

The transformation of the 1,250-guest vessel is the first in a series of enhancements planned as part of the line’s OceaniaNEXT programme, an initiative which the line claims will impact “every element” of the onboard experience, from design to cuisine, service and enrichment.
