Oceania Cruises releases 2024 world cruise

Oceania Cruises has revealed details for its 2024 world cruise itinerary, in addition to four new Grand Voyages of 72 to 82 days in length.

Featuring 96 destinations in 34 countries, the Around the World in 180 Days itinerary, on the 684-guest Insignia, will depart Los Angeles for New York on 14 January 2024, crossing three oceans and 15 seas from the South Pacific to the coasts of Europe.

Oceania Cruises president and CEO Howard Sherman said: “Incredibly, last year our 2023 world cruise sold out in just one day, so for 2024 we are providing guests more extended voyage options to deeply and meaningfully rediscover the world.

“While a globe-circling journey is the pinnacle of life-changing travel experiences, we have specially curated a set of Grand Voyages for seasoned and time-rich travellers to navigate storied seas, straits and oceans that boldly connect diverse and exotic corners of the globe.”

Culture and exclusive events with Oceania Cruises

The world cruise will feature more than 100 UNESCO world heritage sites, with 24 overnight stays and a series of curated complimentary special onshore events and optional multi-day overland programmes.

Starting from £38,599pp, it includes business-class roundtrip airfare, an array of amenities, with the exclusive prestige package, such as free laundry services, free internet, gratuities up to $8,200, shoreside events and more.

The new Grand Voyages will offer extended evening port stays and “meaningful excursions ashore that connect guests to the place, culture and people visited”, according to Oceania Cruises.

Itineraries include the 77-day Grand Pacific Expedition, from Los Angeles to Sydney; the 82-day Odyssey of Discoveries cruise; Epic Eastern Explorer from Mumbai to Tokyo, and a 79-day Ultimate Exotic Traveller itinerary.
