MSC Cruises has revealed its summer 2024 itineraries, running from April to October.

The line will have 22 ships in operation, with itineraries on board MSC Virtuosa departing from Southampton, visiting destinations such as Reykjavík, Flaam and Rotterdam.

Cruises start from four-night getaways costing £259, seven-night cruises starting at £649 and a 14-night itinerary departing on 7 September 2024, visiting Casablanca, the Canary Islands and Lisbon.

MSC Cruises UK & Ireland MD Antonio Paradiso said: “We are committed to offering the best possible experience for our customers from the UK and Ireland and that is why our latest ship, MSC Virtuosa, will be based in the UK again during summer 2024.

“We have noticed a huge demand for stress-free, no-fly cruises from Southampton since our first full ex-UK season back in 2018.

“Next year, we will welcome our innovative and new ship in the fleet, MSC Euribia, which will sail from the UK during winter 2023/2024. This will be MSC Cruises’ second LNG-powered ship and will help us to build on the success of ex-UK sailings.”

MSC Cruises ‘on track’ for record-breaking year

Paradiso added: “Booking a cruise early is one of the best ways to take advantage of new itineraries when they are released. There are two compelling reasons why you should book in advance.

“First, there are certain cabin categories that are usually in high demand when new cruises are released, so it is important that customers book early to avoid disappointment.

“Secondly, fares are determined by supply and demand, therefore new itineraries tend to have the best and most affordable prices.

“As we are on track to have a record-breaking year in 2023, our travel agents will play a crucial role in pushing these 2024 itineraries to our UK and Ireland customers, ensuring that we achieve these targets and beyond.”

MSC Cruises recently revealed it had recorded its best-ever month for bookings in October 2022.
