Marella Cruises has launched its first ever trade incentive, with 25 places available on a Marella Explorer 2 sailing in the Caribbean
The Make it on Marella initiative will run from 1 May-31 December 2024, where the top 20 agents, plus five “wild card” agent places, will win a spot on on the line’s seven-night Colours of the Caribbean itinerary on 11 March 2025.
The voyage departs Marella Explorer 2’s new homeport of La Romana, Dominican Republic, and calls in Philipsburg, St Maarten; Roseau, Dominica; St John’s, Antigua; Road Town, British Virgin Islands; and Samana, Dominican Republic.
The winning agents will also secure flights, transfers and tips, as well as all-inclusive treatment as standard to sample the food and drink options onboard.
Marella Cruises to ‘immerse’ agents with new incentive
The trip will be hosted by representatives of Marella Cruises and TUI to immerse agents in the cruise line’s product offerings.
To enter, agents will need to submit their own Marella Cruises package bookings on a digital form, and a leaderboard will be crafted by the cruise line to ensure agents are aware of their placements.
Chris Hackney, managing director of Marella Cruises, said: “We are thrilled to be offering 25 incentive places aboard Marella Explorer 2 in 2025. It’s important to us that we give our trusted travel agents a unique trip to immerse themselves in the product whilst also experiencing one of our new Caribbean homeports for 2025 in La Romana, Dominican Republic.”
Last year, Marella confirmed it will homeport Marella Discovery 2 out of Limassol, Cyprus, from 7 May 2025 for a series of summer sailings.
