The online travel agency, InteleTravel, is set to help at next month’s CLIA cruise week through a programme of activity for agents and partners.
InteleTravel has reported ‘healthy’ cruise sales across its 15,000 UK & Ireland agents, with cruise now making up 10 percent of business for the home-working travel agency.
In fact, the travel agency has planned for this percentage to rise to 15 percent by the end of 2024.
InteleTravel UK & Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes commented: “Post-pandemic our sales have shown steady growth; we have so many CLIA agents who attend ship visits, participate in our cruise training and see the value of repeat business.
“We are confident we can achieve our goals and strong backing from our cruise partners will complement the CLIA Cruise Week programme.”
Handley-Hughes continued to state how CLIA cruise week, running from 18-24 September, provides a great opportunity to focus on river cruise sales growth as well as to support current ocean cruise sales.
This activity coincides with InteleTravel’s launch of the InteleTravel cruise booking engine, which the agency describes as “a one-stop shop for searches, bookings, itineraries and ship information”.
Who is InteleTravel?
InteleTravel is an online travel agency, recognised by cruise brands such as Hurtigruten, TUI and Crosi Europe Cruises.
Guests can fill out a form about the type of travel they want to undertake, then an advisor will be in touch and spend some time learning more about the guest and their travel goals.
The advisor will then work with the guest to build the holiday, get the lowest price available and continue to provide assistance after the sale.
The travel agency describe the process as “real people helping real people”.
What’s more, InteleTravel advisors travel themselves so they can share first-hand experience and build relationships with major travel brands so guests can enjoy good prices.
InteleTravel is a member of ABTA and many of the flight and flight-inclusive holidays are ATOL protected.
