The line’s fleet of 20 contemporary ships, which include the new Norwegian Viva® and coming next year Norwegian Aqua, are open for sale now with holiday options including more than 400 of the world’s most desirable destinations.
As well as headline favourites such as Barcelona, New York and Walvis Bay, the cruise specialist also offers itineraries to Great Stirrup Cay, its private island destination in the Bahamas, Curacao and Dakar.
Onboard, guests will have a hard time choosing where to eat with up to 21 exciting dining options – like showstopping Japanese in Teppanyaki to high end French cuisine at Le Bistro – on a single ship.
Norwegian Cruise Line develops European offering
Next year the line will offer myriad itineraries, including a 12-day Northern Europe: Iceland, Norway & Svalbard from Copenhagen itinerary onboard Norwegian Star®.
Customers who are infatuated with breathtaking sites should make the most of Maloy in Norway. The town plays host to Jostedalsbreen National Park, where they can discover continental Europe’s largest glacier.
After a day of exploration, guests can reach true relaxation onboard Norwegian Star with a hot stone massage in the Mandara Spa®. After, they can tuck into fresh, rustic ingredients in Italian ristorante La Cucina, or debate between a range of premium cuts in Cagney’s Steakhouse.
In the Mediterranean, meanwhile, remind customers to come equipped with a camera to snap pictures of dramatic coastal cliffs in Ibiza’s Parc Natural de Ses Salines.
They can then head to Beachouse Ibiza for a plate of seabass tartare with crispy seaweed crackers and Mediterranean citrus, rounding off the perfect sun-kissed adventure.
A nine-night Mediterranean: Italy, France & Spain cruise aboard Norwegian Breakaway round-trip from Barcelona via Cannes, Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Rome (Civitavecchia), Naples, Cagliari, Ibiza and Palma, departs 7 April 2025, from £979pp*.
Africa itineraries increasing in demand
Further afield, on an 18-day Africa: Namibia, Cape Verde, Angola & Ivory Coast itinerary from Cape Town to Lisbon aboard Norwegian Dawn®, customers will have the chance to get under the skin of some of the world’s most captivating countries.
For example, in Senegal’s Dakar, they can visit gleaming mosques and cathedrals before browsing the colourful stalls of one of the many bustling markets for handmade goods such as jewellery, which local artists craft from horn, mud, gourds and seashells.
They can then join a tour of Place de l’Indépendance and see the colonial architecture of historic buildings lining the central square.
Back onboard, guests can drop by The Cellars, a Michael Mondavi Family Wine Bar, for a wine tasting, or take lady luck for a spin in the expansive casino.
Following a refreshing night of sleep, guests can head to Banjul in Gambia to take in the sweeping landscapes before tucking into a plate of Benachin – a delicacy of rice cooked with meat or fish, alongside locally-sourced vegetables and tomatoes.
An 18-night Africa: Namibia, Cape Verde, Angola & Ivory Coast cruise aboard Norwegian Dawn from Cape Town to Lisbon via Walvis Bay, Luanda, Sao Tome, Abidjan (Cote D’Ivoire), Banjul, Dakar, Santa Maria and Tenerife, departs 12 March 2025, from £2,119pp*.
Caribbean continues to perform
Across the Atlantic guests can immerse themselves in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean on an 11-day Caribbean: Curacao, Aruba and Dominican Republic itinerary round-trip from Miami onboard Norwegian Gem®.
In Oranjestad, snow-white sands and cobalt blue waters clash to create an image akin to those in Hollywood movies. The Aruban capital also plays host to the 18th century Fort Zoutman and the Willem III Tower, which houses the island’s Historical Museum.
After a day of informative exploration, guests can visit Norwegian Gem’s onboard Starbucks® for a pick-me-up before they enjoy live entertainment in the Sugarcane Mojito Bar. Having been refurbished in 2022, the ship blends the rich heritage of traditional cruising with modern amenities.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. In Curacao, guests will have the chance to discover a magical underwater world, brimmed with vibrant coral and marine life such as reef sharks, moray eels and octopus.
An eight-night Bahamas: Great Stirrup Cay, Orlando & Nassau cruise aboard Norwegian Escape®, round-trip from New York via Orlando, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, departs 7 March 2025, from £755pp*.
