Two GoCruise & Travel franchisees have been praised by the firm for achieving more than £100,000 in turnover within six months of completing the brand’s training academy
Amanda and Peter Duggan, who joined the business with no travel experience, said the level of support they received from the GoCruise & Travel team and their mentor Christina Astill has been “outstanding and instrumental” to their success.
It comes as the brand reveals a new rewards programme for its best-performing franchisees, which sees those achieving more than £100k turnover in their first year of joining be reimbursed the joining fee.
Meanwhile, a new long service reward will be handed out to encourage and thank franchisees for keeping their business with GoCruise & Travel.
Those achieving more than £750k turnover in 2025 will receive a “generous” bonus, while franchisees brining in more than £1 million in sales within a year will join the Millionaire Club and receive no monthly subscription charges and an additional pay out on top of commission.
Franchisee Zoltan Bisco has achieved more than £70k in holiday and cruise sales in the first week of peak season. Bisco, who has previously worked for Ponders Travel, said he was keen to set up his own business.
“After 10 remarkable years with Ponders Travel, a time that shaped my life and career in providing wonderful holiday experiences, I am so excited to have started a new chapter with my own business backed by GoCruise & Travel,” he said.
Colin Martin-Weekes, head of franchise, added: “I’m so proud to have such wonderful people as part of our franchise model and I’m confident that they will build successful businesses for their customers.
“It’s great to be able to reward franchisees for all their hard work and to encourage and incentivise them to grow their businesses. GoCruise & Travel is all about partnerships and we pride ourselves on looking after what we have built together.”
