For this weekend only, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines is offering additional savings of up to £500pp on selected sailings as part of its cruise sale.

The cruise line has added more savings on 12 sailings for new bookings made by 21 February inclusive, with cruises starting from £649pp.

Itineraries featured in the sale include the chance to visit the scenic fjords of Norway in August, the canals of Amsterdam in spring, as well as a sailing on Balmoral through the Kiel Canal.

A summer voyage to Sweden’s Stockholm archipelago and a Canary Islands cruise later this year are also available.

Fred Olsen ‘building excitement’

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines director of sales and marketing Jackie Martin said: “After a record-breaking January, we wanted to build some extra excitement before our cruise sale comes to a close at the end of the month.

“There are a fantastic selection of sailings featured, including visiting Scandinavian capitals to delve deeper into Viking history or enjoying scenic cruising around the Scottish isles with the chance to enjoy some memorable wildlife encounters.”

Earlier in February, Fred Olsen extended its cruise sale after the line’s most successful January on record.

Last month saw a record number of bookings, including a 50 per cent rise in those trying the line for the first time, compared to January 2020.

At the time, Fred Olsen managing director Peter Deer said: “We have seen a phenomenal start to the year, with bookings – including those trying our brand for the first time – exceeding those in our last pre-pandemic year in 2019.”
