Emerald Waterways is to welcome a new river cruise ship in the spring of 2021.
The 180-passenger vessel, Emerald Luna, will be the latest addition to the cruise line’s Star-Ship fleet and she will operate European itineraries along the Rhine, Main and Danube waterways.
The cruise line has also released new European itineraries for 2021, featuring more than 18 sailings across destinations including the Black Forest, Belgrade, and Rotterdam.
These include a 10-day Springtime Delights through The Netherlands and Belgium starting from £2,545 per person aboard Emerald Dawn (based on 1 April 2021 departure), and an eight-day Legendary Rhine and Moselle itinerary, travelling from Mainz to Bernkastel, taking in Wiesbaden, Rüdesheim, Koblenz, Cochem and Trier.
During the sailings, guests will enjoy new EmeraldPLUS experiences and excursions, including a Rotterdam architecture tour with a visit to the MarktHal, and a guided tour of a Belgian village with a local tasting.
Emerald Waterways’ director of marketing & global brand curator, David Winterton, said:
“We are delighted that the Emerald Waterways portfolio continues to grow. The new Star-Ship is to be built this year in order to increase capacity to accommodate the global demand for Rhine, Main and Danube itineraries.”
The new river ship, Emerald Luna, and 2021 European itineraries are available to peruse in Emerald Waterways’ new European Cruises 2021 brochure.
All suites on board Emerald Luna will feature all-weather balcony systems so guests can enjoy views of the passing scenery, an infotainment system and luxury toiletries.
The cruise line is offering 2021 river cruises at 2020 prices for a limited-time only, with savings up to £500 per couple plus €200 per cabin to spend on board.
All prices include relevant discounts; return flights; transfers; all tipping and gratuities; all on-board meals and selected drinks; excursions and experiences.
Emerald Luna is the ninth vessel in the Star-Ship fleet and the eighth to travel along Europe’s waterways.
